Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Grimes, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The SE Trail Ridge Road Water Main project includes the replacement of the existing water main along SE Trail Ridge Road from SE Little Beaver Drive to SE 6th Street/SE Trail Ridge Road in the City of Grimes. The construction includes approximately 1,310 LF of 8" trenchless PVC water main, 810 LF of 8" trenched PVC water main, and 30 LF of 6" trenched PVC water main. Other associated improvements include: temporary granular surfacing, removal of existing driveways, removal & replacement of sidewalk pavement, fire hydrant removal and installation, water service installation, erosion control, surface restoration, and miscellaneous associated work necessary to complete the project. A copy of said plans, specifications, and form of contract, and estimated total cost is now on file in the office of the City Clerk and may be examined at Grimes City Hall, 101 NE Harvey Street, Grimes, Iowa, 50111. An electronic copy of the Contract Documents is available for no cost. liquidated damages of One Thousand Dollars($1,000.00) per calendar day.
