Renovation of a library in Grimes, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 22,000-square-foot library.
Project Number- 19004284.00 The New Grimes Public Library - Elevator project includes the construction of a new library in the SE quadrant of the intersection of N James Street and NE Beaverbrooke Drive in Grimes Iowa. The library is approximately 22,000 sf and consists of three levels (main floor, mezzanine and 2nd floor). The exterior skin is brick veneer with limestone accents and metal panels. The project includes a new parking lot with associated site improvements. Separate prime contracts will be issued for the following packages: BP#9 Elevator Bids will be considered by the City of Grimes City Council at its meeting at 5:30 P.M. on the 22 nd day of March, 2022, in said City Council Chambers, 410 SE Main Street. The City Council may award a Contract at said meeting, or at such other time and place as shall then be announced
