Cochise College Facilities Department is seeking bids from qualified professional firms to furnish all materials, labor and necessary equipment and perform required work necessary to install a canopy at the Career and Technical Education on the Sierra Vista Campus, 901 North Colombo Ave., Sierra Vista, AZ 85635. Target dates - Construction is to begin 16 May, 2022 to ensure completion by 1 August, 2022. 1. Cochise College is building a steel canopy structure for outdoor construction trade labs. The project will take place at the Career and Technical Education Building (Bldg. 1500) at the Sierra Vista Campus. 2. The first phase of the project, which included concrete, masonry and steel column placement, have been accomplished. 3. This project is the second phase of construction, which consists of the addition of a 20 gauge 1-1/2- inch B-Deck, in lieu of the specified standing seam deck in the construction documents. 4. The College is seeking bids for a welded steel canopy deck to be built on-site, in accordance with the provided construction drawings. 5. Structural steel inspections have already been contracted by the College. 6. All structural steel inspections will be coordinated by the awarded Contractor during the course of construction
