Site work for a civil project in Saint-Lin-Laurentides, Quebec. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Upgrades to the City sewage treatment facilities. The scope of the project includes the construction of a fully mechanized sewage treatment plant based on a moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) and a secondary settling system. The scope of the project also includes the construction of pipelines for connection to existing municipal services (sewers and aqueduct), the leveling and landscaping of the land and the dismantling of existing facilities (building and aerated ponds). TIMELINE: The development of the project was was temporary suspended at the working drawings stage due to a sharp increase in anticipated costs. Currently, the City is focusing on improving existing infrastructure. Optimization of the aerated ponds in operation is under consideration. Future and timelines of this project development are not finalized. Further update in summer to fall 2026. Note. The contracts for preselection and installation of the equipment were awarded following tenders that are followed in the reports under CRM ID names New Step - Phase 1B Preselection - Primary, Secondary and Dehydration Treatment and New Step - Pre-Selection Phase1C - Tertiary Treatment.
