This Project involves tenant improvements and renovations at the City Hall property. It is the intent of this description to give the general extent of the work to be performed under this contract. The Work includes furnishing labor, materials and equipment for minor demolition and renovation of various areas of the existing Lafayette City Hall at 1290 South Public Road Lafayette, CO 80026. Questions regarding the documents shall be directed to Nate Richards, Project Manager, at nrichards@cumming-group.com. Questions pertaining to the Bid and Contract Documents must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., February 11, 2022. Any questions received after this date and time will not be addressed. Answers to questions submitted by 5:00 p.m., February 11, 2022, will be posted no later than 5:00 p.m., February 17, 2022. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee bond, or a certified or cashier's check payable to the order of the City of Lafayette in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the Contract, if awarded, in conformity with the bid form (the Bid Bond). The bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall be required to furnish both a Performance Bond and Payment Bond acceptable to the City of Lafayette for 100% of the Contract Price for each bond, in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The Contract will be awarded or bids rejected no earlier than March 04, 2022. The City of Lafayette may reject any and all bids. The City of Lafayette reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bid or bids that best serve the interest of the City. Time for completion of the Work as proposed by the Contractor will be required in the Contract Documents. The Contract Time shall commence to run on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Anticipated work to be completed in early Summer 2022. The City will consider dates proposed by contractor.
