The proposed contract requires the provision of regular maintenance, clean-up, and minor repairs of the recreation sites identified in Schedule C of the Specimen Contract. All sites are in the Rocky Mountain District. The locations of each site are shown on the recreation site and trail map included with the tender package (Appendix 4). Bidders may also visit the following website http://www.sitesandtrailsbc.ca to find more detailed descriptions of each site, including driving directions. The Contractor will visit each site as per the schedule specified in Schedule C to conduct the tasks outlined in Schedule A, which includes but is not limited to cleaning the outhouses, conducting minor repairs, painting structures as required, and removing litter. Major repairs to facilities shall be reported to the ministry and may be carried out under an amendment to the contract (see "Additional Work") The term of the contract will be from May 1, 2022 to April 30, 2023; however, the 'Service Period' or period in which services will be provided by the Contractor, will be from May 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023.
