Only questions submitted electronically. Bids will be publicly awarded at a public meeting of the Marion Township Board of Supervisors on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Marion Township Municipal Building. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond with corporate surety approved by the Township Solicitor in a sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price as more fully detailed in the contract documents. The successful bidder will be required to provide the Township with a performance bond in an amount equal to at least 100% of the total contract price within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the bid. The Contract with the Contractor will be for the specified period beginning April 1 2022 and ending on March 31, 2025, or March 31, 2026, or March 31, 2027, if renewal options are executed by the Township. A three (3) year contract with options to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods for Curbside Collection and Disposal of Municipal Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, waiving any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities, and to award contracts as is deemed best for the Township.
