1. Milling asphalt street surfacing and stockpiling for use by the City for other purposes.
2. Placement of new sub-grade, pavement, curb, and gutter, driveways, sidewalks and
sidewalk ramps
3. Fencing and wall installations.
4. Placing Pavement Markings and Roadway Signs.
6. Replacement of existing waterline, valves, hydrants and water services
7. Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan and Erosion Control.
8. Miscellaneous Construction. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or a surety bond - payable to the City of Somerton, AZ for at least 10% of the total bid price as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract to perform the bid in accordance with the plans and project manual, within 10 days after the Notice of Award Until the contract is awarded, the City of Somerton reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities, advertises for new bids, or to perform all or some of the work in house, when it is the best interests of the City of Somerton. The Director of Public Works will review all bids received, and reserves the right to award the contract to the most responsive/responsible bidder whose workmanship best fits the requirements of the City of Somerton.
