Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days.The Work must be completed prior to August 19, 2022. The Work generally consists of improvements to the existing facilities which includes site excavation/grading, the construction of an ADA compliant paved parking stall, paved access path, installation of two pavilions and project acknowledgment sign. The work locations are more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents and project drawings. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. This project is subject to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prevailing wage requirements. All paving work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 unless otherwise specified. Rush Township, in accordance with Title VI of the U.S. Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Parts 21 and 23 of 49 C.F.R., notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that DBE will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and that no person will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. Rush Township reserves the right to reject any or all BIDS or portions thereof and to accept any BIDS, which in its judgment is for the best interest of the Township. Rush Township and their representatives are not responsible for bids mailed but not received.
