Site work and paving for a road / highway in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: 3" Depth Pavement Repair (1,150 SY Base Bid) in various locations. The work locations are more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents. Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The Work must be completed on or before September 16, 2022. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. Liquid Fuels funds will be utilized for funding a portion of this project and all materials and work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 in place at the time of bid submission unless otherwise specified. Walker Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid, or portion of Bid, which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township.
