The Borough of Tamaqua, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, is seeking proposals from professional pool consultants for design and construction management services for the reconstruction of the H.D. Buehler Memorial Pool (aka Bungalow Park) located at 200 Catawissa Street, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. The Borough assumes no responsibility for proposals that are mailed but not received. Interested firms must submit a statement of qualifications and experience, professional resumes, references, certificate of insurance, and other documentation demonstrating experience with pool construction projects. The purpose of the Request For Proposals is to gather information from qualified firms relative to the scope of work and key selection criteria. Firms may also be required to participate in interviews and make a presentation before a selection committee. The Borough intends to select the most advantageous proposal based on the criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any irregularities and, regardless of price, accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
