The proposed work consists of installing approximately 14,800 square feet of eight foot wide concrete walking path . Project Cost Estimate is $60,000. The work will be substantially completed on or before July 23, 2022; General Conditions on or before July 30,2022. Bids must be submitted on the unbound Bid Forms furnished with the Bidding Documents and must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code or a Bid Security furnished in Bond Form, issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Attention must be given to all the requirements contained in the bid packet, prevailing wage rates, various insurance requirements and the requirement for a payment and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. Bids will only be accepted from the Bidders listed on the Engineer's Official list of plan holders. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Putnam County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division. The Village of Kalida reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the work.
