For the 2021 Annual Road Project as follows: Contract A - Cold-In-Place Recycling (CIR) / Storm Sewer Improvements Contract B - Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) Contract C - Installation of Superpave Materials Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Surety Companys Bid Bond on the form provided in the Bid Documents, naming as payee or Obligee, North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid submitted. The Surety Company must be acceptable to the Township. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the above-specified date for receiving, opening and reading of bids, except as specifically may be provided by law. All Contracts exceeding $10,000.00 shall be performed in compliance with Executive Order 11246, entitled, Equal Employment Opportunity, as amended by Executive Order 11375 and as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations (41 CFR Part 60). In addition, all Contractors shall comply with the Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause as required by Pennsylvania Executive Order 2016-05. Wages paid are subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961, P.L. 987 as amended and supplemented. The Bidder and all subcontractors must be prequalified by PennDOT for the type of project work specified in order to bid the project, and PennDOT prequalification certificates must be submitted by the Bidder and all subcontractors. North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County, reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all Bids, and to delete any item or portion of an item without affecting the bids on the remaining items or portion of items.
