Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Palm Coast, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and road / highway.

Questions Due Date: Mar 22nd 2022, 2:00 PM EDT Intent to Bid Due Date: Mar 30th 2022, 2:00 PM EDT Scope of work includes demolition and partial replacement of existing timber boardwalk; installation of new sidewalk; rehabilitation of 3 - 84" CMPs (approx. 450-L.F.); reestablishing roadway shoulder and ditch line; and all other incidental work necessary to provide a completed project in accordance with the contract documents. The Contractor shall provide all work required including, but not limited to, labor, supervision, traffic control, materials, equipment, installation, and incidentals required for complete rehabilitation. CONTRACTOR shall also provide material samples, as necessary, to ensure compliance with manufacturer's recommendations. Installation of all materials shall be in accordance with all applicable CITY standards and requirements, applicable Florida Departments of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (latest edition), manufacturer and industry preferred standards. Work assigned under this contract may include but is not limited to the following: Easement access Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Isolation and by-pass pumping Erosion and sediment control Site restoration Obtaining all required permits associated with the work Stormwater pre-and post-work inspections Demolition Construction of sidewalk, boardwalk, & drainage structures Pipe Rehabilitation Total construction time to achieve Substantial Completion is one hundred and fifty (150) consecutive calendar days from the date of the "Notice to Proceed," with an additional thirty (30) consecutive calendar days to achieve Final Completion. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond shall accompany each Bid if Bid amount is one-hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) or greater. The certified check, cashier's check or bid bond shall be for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid price and shall be made payable to the City as a guarantee that the Bidder will not withdraw his/her Bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the Bid closing time. In the event the Contract is awarded to the Successful Bidder and will enter into a written Agreement with the City and furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in an amount equal to the Contract Price. The Material and Workmanship Bond shall be in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Contract Price as adjusted on the Final Application for Payment. The Bidder will forfeit their Bid Security if they fail to do so.
