The Alton Township Board will be accepting quotes for the hauling and spreading of class 5 gravel and/or class 5 modified crushed rock on township roads with end dump trucks only. The amount of aggregate to be hauled and spread will be approximately 1,000 to 2,500 ton, more or less. Class 5 gravel to be hauled from Jansen Pit in Mankato MN. Class 5 modified crushed rock to be hauled from a quarry located in Mankato MN. All hauling needs to be completed by June 30, 2022. The board will review all quotes at the monthly board meeting on Wednesday March 2, 2022 at 7:00 pm. The board reserves the right to reject any or all quotes and to accept the offer that the board feels is in the best interest of the township.
