Bid Project: The City of Superior is requesting pricing from contractors to provide routine mowing services. The services would be performed on City-owned parcels and adjacent boulevards. The request includes 57 properties located throughout the City. The total area is approximately 10.09 acres or 439,330 square feet with an average lot size of 7,707 square feet. Each lot is to be mowed once every four weeks. The order of mowing and how the mowing is dispersed over the four week period is at the contractors discretion. The contractor will have flexibility in how and when they perform the work. The contactor shall mow all weeds and grass down to a maximum of three inches when completed. Payment will be made based on a square foot unit price. The amount of square feet paid will be calculated not on field measurement, but on parcel size as determined by GIS City mapping. All bids must be prepared on the form provided and submitted in accordance to the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Superior encourages the participation of Minority, Womenowned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The City of Superior reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, or to accept such bids, as in the opinion of the City, will be in its best interests.
