MWBE: Western Washington University is committed to providing the maximum practicable opportunity for participation by minority and women-owned businesses (MWBE) in public works. Voluntary goals for this project have been established as 10% MBE and 6% WBE. Participation may be either on a direct basis in response to this invitation to bid, or as a subcontractor or supplier. However, no minimum level of MWBE participation shall be required as a condition for receiving an award and bids will not be rejected or considered non-responsive ifthey do not include MWBE participation. Potential bidders will need to submit bids electronically through the e-builder on-line bidding portal, in lieu of the section 00 41 00 - Bid Form. Only Bids submitted through e-Builder's Bid Portal will be accepted. Potential bidders are highly encouraged to prepare and submit bid submittals prior to the deadline in order to reduce the likelihood of any last minute technical issues.
