Site work for a water / sewer project in Bellingham, Washington. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of January 5, 2024, an engineer has been selected for the project. Per the owner, a firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Port of Bellingham is issuing this Request for Professional Services for facility planning, permitting, engineering and design services for a project to refurbish or replace the floats, piles and associated infrastructure in Gates 6 through 10 in the Port of Bellingham's Inner Squalicum Harbor. In addition, the project will complete maintenance dredging of the Inner and Outer Harbors to re-establish design drafts. It is anticipated that construction of this project will be phased over multiple years with the first phase of construction anticipated to start in 2025. Direct any questions you may have regarding this RFPS to Larry Scholten, PE. The Port of Bellingham reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted. The successful service provider will be contacted by the Port and will be required to execute the attached Standard Agreement for Professional Services. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. As of May 12, 2022, the due date and time has been confirmed with the owner.
