The cost estimate for Contract #1 is $50,000 and Contract #2 is $36,000. For Contract #1 - Scottdale Borough 2022 Paving, Contract #2 - Tar and Chip Projects A pre-bid conference will not be held. Any questions concerning the project, locations, and the bidding procedure can be directed to Widmer Engineering at 724-626-1909. The quantities are posted on the website with location maps. A ten percent (10%) bid bond is required and the successful bidder will need to obtain a payment and performance bond of 100% of the contract. The Borough reserves the right to decrease quantities, waive any bid informalities, or defects, delete any streets, reject any or all proposals, and accept such proposals deemed to be in the Boroughs best interest. The Borough of Scottdale is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate because of race, color, religious creed, handicap, ancestry, national origin, age, or sex. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons who are registered as having obtained Contract Documents.
