Site work and paving for a road / highway in Parker, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project proposes to construct master-planned improvements to Cherry Creek near Mainstreet. Purpose/Discussion Cherry Creek is the Towns most significant drainageway, bisecting the Town from south to north and serving as a major regional waterway from the region to the South Platte River. This drainageway is the subject of a Major Drainageway Plan (MDP) performed by the Town and the Mile High Flood District (MHFD). This MDP sets forth master-planned stabilization and grade-control improvements that are planned to be constructed within the channel. This project will construct a segment of these improvements located in the vicinity of Mainstreet. The 2025 budget includes funding for conceptual design to aid in project development. As of May 1st, 2025, this project is in the City of Parker's Capital Budget FY 2025. It is currently in the conceptual phase. Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
