Salisbury Park North is a 91-acre property centrally located within the community. It was acquired by the Town in 2009 for park and open space purposes and is zoned Public Facilities. A master plan supported by the community was completed in 2014, and the Town of Parker is in the process of constructing the park in phases. Purpose/Discussion The Salisbury Park North Project is a regional park that is planned to be constructed in four or more phases. The overall park has amenities including multi-purpose soccer fields, multi-purpose ballfields, pickleball courts, tennis courts, an inclusive play area, a bike park, an outdoor fitness area, picnic pavilions, restrooms, parking, landscaping, and irrigation. The cost of the complete park is estimated at $80 million. Due to the cost, the park construction will need to be phased over multiple years. Phase one is anticipated to include the multi-purpose ballfields, multi-purpose soccer fields, restrooms, parking, landscaping, irrigation, and utility infrastructure. The 2025 construction project is anticipated to start in mid-2025 and be completed in mid-2026. As of April 28, 2025, this project is included in the city's 2025-2034 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). It is currently in the design phase. It should bid for construction in the second half of 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
