The project consists of removing approximately 900 LF of existing natural roadside ditch and storm pipe and replacement with grouted rip rap ditch and concrete storm pipe to improve drainage along Blueberry Lane and Mountain Drive in Garfield, Arkansas. Asphalt overlay approximately 2,100 SY of existing asphalt and gravel roadway. Erosion control measures and grading activities to be constructed as part of the project. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Garfield, Arkansas in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed beyond 90 days from the bid opening date.
