Fremont Sanitation District Request for Proposals RFP 2022-04 Clarifier Sandblasting and Painting Fremont Sanitation District is requesting proposals for the secondary clarifier sandblasting and painting located at the Rainbow Park Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, Florence, Colorado. The Project area is located at the Rainbow Park Wastewater Treatment Plant, east of the town of Florence, at 0121 County Road 119, Florence, CO 81226. The clarifier is an 875,000-gallon concrete tank that is 92 X 92 feet wide and is located at the North end of the treatment plant main structure. The clarifier s steel components include a collection trough (launder), scum ring (and adjoining supports), scum trough, center well baffle, rake mechanism, and perimeter wear plate. The scope of this project is to white metal blast clarifier steel collection trough (launder), scum ring (and adjoining supports), scum trough, center well baffle, rake mechanism, and perimeter wear plate. The coating shall be applied to approximately 6,296 square feet of sheet metal and approximately 2,184 linear feet of I-beam and angle iron per clarifier. However, this list is not inclusive of all the steel work which shall be recoated under this specification as there are several appurtenances, brackets, scrapers, and other miscellaneous small items which have not been specifically identified in this specification, but which shall be recoated.
