Renovation of a mixed-use development in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A five percent (5%) Bid Bond shall accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bonds, and certificates of Liability and Worker's Compensation Insurance. Modifications to the existing vestibules at both locations will create a double door system that provides a secure area to identify visitors before granting further access into the building. Existing interior vestibule doors will be relocated farther into the building and a new door directly into the school office will be installed. Work also includes technology integration, camera installation, selective demolition, masonry wall construction, flooring installation, painting, and ceiling and lighting replacement. Berrien Springs Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or irregularities in bids, and to accept any bid which is deemed most advantageous to the public interest. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of Thirty (30) calendar days after the date set for bid opening
