Renovation of a municipal facility in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,240-square-foot municipal facility.
This is Phase 2 of a restoration project involving an existing 7,240 s.f. building severely damaged by fire in 2022. Phase 1 work included removing debris, gutting the interior, and making the building structurally sound. Phase 2 work includes a complete interior build-out: light gauge metal wall framing, drywall systems, acoustical lay-in ceilings, tile and carpet flooring, painting, and plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems. Berrien Springs Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or irregularities in bids, and to accept any bid which is deemed most advantageous to the public interest. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond shall accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bonds, and certificates of Liability and Worker’s Compensation Insurance.
