This project is for the final design and construction drawings for an open space area near Prairie Center that is planned to include a ten-foot concrete regional trail, an eight-foot soft surface trail, and design for a parking lot. Once completed, the open space area is planned to include a fishing pier, outdoor classrooms, and a wildlife viewing area. Ongoing Operating Impact: This project provides no new impacts to ongoing operations. As of March 7, 2025, this project is included in the City of Brighton's Fiscal Year 2025-2029 CIP. Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been established. Funding is allotted for FY 2025.
