Scope of Work: Demo and remodel of Room 236 - 238 of HPER N. Effective September 10, 2018, the University has retired the previous state mandated Surety Bond Forms and is now requiring the use of the AIA Bid Bond Form A310-2010 and Performance and Payment Bond Form A312-2010. Q & A deadline: Mar 14, 2022 6:00:00 PM EDT Construction Constraints: None The University of Utah reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the University. Contract duration: One Time Purchase Contract renewal: Not Applicable Prices good for: 45 days Regions: Utah, Salt Lake The project scope includes: a. Demolish an existing conference room and two existing sloped-floor classrooms (Rooms 236-238), along with associated stage platform spaces, and renovate the space into 22 new offices to support the Departments of Health & Kinesiology, and Parks, Recreation & Tourism. b. Overbuild the existing sloped floors to provide a new, level floor surface for the renovated office area. c. Install ten (10) new windows within the existing building exterior masonry wall to serve the outboard offices. d. Provide pricing for two additive alternates, as described in Section 012300 Alternates. e. And other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
