Fence construction services and rangeland fence and fence installation This Request for Quotes "RFQ" is issued in accordance with State of Utah Procurement Code and the Utah Administrative Code. If any provision of this RFQ conflicts with the Utah Procurement Code or the Utah Administrative Code, then Utah Procurement Code and then Utah Administrative Code will take precedence. The purpose of this RFQ is to enter into a purchase order with the responsive and responsible vendor that submits the lowest cost to provide: Fencing Services according to Attachment B - Scope of Work The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (UDWR) is requesting bids for the removal and reconstruction of approximately 1.175 miles of fence on the Pahvant Wildlife Management Area in Millard County, Utah (see attached map for project location). This project specifically entails complete removal and re-construction of approximately 3040 feet of 4-strand barbed fence and 3164 feet of removal and replacement of the 4 strands of wire only (posts may remain in ground and be re-used) to the specifications listed below. In addition, two (2) walk through gates (state will provide all materials) will need to be installed. Due to the accessibility of the work site it will be possible for contractors to utilize mobile fencing equipment of their choice due to the ease and accessibility of the terrain. The site consists of long flat stretches of fairly even terrain with occasional washes and small hills and very little rock. A majority of the fence also runs adjacent to or near 2 track roads. Fence location, boundaries, site maps, and access points will be reviewed at a pre-work conference. Following are details and specifications The Contractor is required to supply all fence material to be installed (with the exception of the 2 walk through steel gates and associated railroad tie bracing that will be provided) and shall furnish all labor, equipment and materials to complete the work. All fence material furnished by the contractor shall be new and shall conform to the specifications referred to herein. All questions related to this solicitation, specifications, or bidding procedures MUST be asked in writing in SciQuest. There are no exceptions to this.
