Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed improvements consist of the reconstruction of Buckthorn Way from Sommer Place to approximately 100 north of Hazel Nut Drive and consist of: PCC Pavement Reconstruction, Curb & Gutter reconstruction, PCC Sidewalk Reconstruction, PCC Driveway Reconstruction, ADA curb ramp construction, and appurtenant work. All provisions regarding EEO, prevailing wage, certified payroll, and DBE and WBE requirements shall be strictly enforced. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
