Work shall consist of pulverizing, bituminous milling, and bituminous paving on specified Village roads in the Village of Germantown for the calendar year 2022 in accordance with the requirements of the Public Works & Highway Committee. Major Items of Work - Approximate Quantities 6,915 Ton - Asphalt Pavement 17,500 S.Y. - Pulverizing & Shaping 9,000 S.Y. - Pavement Removal Projects include: The 2022 Road Program consists of a base bid: 1. Pavement Pulverization, Grading, and Repaving A. Bonniwell Road (Division Rd. to Termini) B. Holy Hill Road (Division Rd. to Termini) C. Maple Road (Holy Hill Rd. to Rockfield Rd.) 2. Mill and Overlay D. Bonniwell Road (4,210' E of Division Rd. to 3+50) E. Willow Creek Way 3. Road Reconstruction F. Century Lane (Lovers Ln. to STH 145) G. Lovers Lane (Division Rd. to Century Ln.) 4. Other Improvements H. Friestadt Railroad Medians (Friestadt Rd. at WSOR Crossing) The work is known officially as "The Village of Germantown 2022 Road Improvements Project No. 2201" and shall consist of pulverizing, bituminous milling and bituminous paving on specified roads in the Village of Germantown for the calendar year 2022 in accordance with the requirements of the Public Works & Highway Committee. The base bid details work on seven (7) roads as follows. 1. Boniwell Road - Division Rd. to Termini and 4,210' E of Division Road to 3+50 The primary section of Boniwell Rd. consists of the pulverization and paving of the existing surface. One (1) storm culvert is to be replaced. Two (2) foot shoulders will be installed along the roadway. All disturbed areas must be restored. The East section of Boniwell Rd. consists of the milling of a section of surface and relay of the surface course of HMA. All disturbed areas must be restored. 2. Holy Hill Road - Division Rd. to Termini This road consists of the pulverization of the existing surface and installing new HMA pavement. All disturbed areas must be restored. 3. Maple Road - Holy Hill Rd. to Rockfield Rd. This road consists of the pulverization of the existing surface and installing new HMA pavement. All disturbed areas must be restored. 4. Friestadt Road Railroad Medians - Friestadt Rd. at WSOR Crossing This project consists of the removal of existing asphalt followed by the installation of concrete medians and soil infill. Bike lane pavement wings are also to be installed at this crossing along with the re-striping of all surfaces. All disturbed areas must be restored 5. Willow Creek Way - Appleton Ave. to Termini This road consists of milling wedge along existing curb and gutter and the installation of new HMA pavement. Some concrete curb and gutter replacement is needed around catch basins. The road is also to be striped. All disturbed areas must be restored. 6. Century/Lovers Reconstruction - Division Rd. to Century Ln. and Lovers Ln. to STH 145 This is a full reconstruction of two streets. This includes the pulverization of the existing surface, fill and cut areas, regrading roadway, laying of new HMA pavement, installation of stormwater conveyance devices, and grading and formation of stormwater drainage ditches. All disturbed areas must be restored.
