Site work for a road / highway in Limerick, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Limerick Twp. Board of Supervisors will accept sealed proposals for Public Works Project #22-01 Full-Depth Reclamation consisting of approximately 9,000 sq. yds. (+/-). All work shall be in accordance with PennDOT 408 The PA minimum prevailing wage rates, as determined by the PA Department of Labor & Industry, shall apply to this contract. All sealed proposals shall be submitted with a ten percent (10%) bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price. It is the intent to award this project as a single contract to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder. All Full-Depth Reclamation shall be complete in place not later than May 27, 2022. The Limerick Twp. Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof as they may deem necessary and in the best interest of Limerick Township Full-Depth Reclamation at a minimum depth of 12. Once pulverized and mixed, Portland Cement is to be added for chemical stabiliation at amounts per the project mix design. Must mainatain a minimum cross slope of 2% . This work also consists of shaping, finishing, fine grading, and compaction of the reclaimed base. A prime coat of CSS-1h is to be placed following finish grading.
