As of April 28, 2022, project was awarded to Superior Sealcoating & Paving, awarded amount is $82,579.98. For City of Sidney 22-10 Courtview Center Parking Lot - The project includes the 1-1/2" milling and resurfacing of parking lot at the Courtview Center, 100 S. Main Avenue including paint striping and parking stall numbering per specifications. Questions deadline : - 03/14/2022 02:00 PM EDT 1) Cold Milling a. Cold milling (planing) shall achieve the designated and designed thickness. b. Millings will become the property of the milling contractor. c. In the event a brick base is discovered during the planing process without the City's prior knowledge, adjustments to the thickness of the asphalt may be required. 2) Sub Base Inspection a. After cold milling (planing) and/or excavation and before the intermediate lift of asphalt is paved, the City shall inspect the sub base of the parking lot exposed by cold milling (planing) for satisfactory condition. b. If deficiencies are found in the sub base of cold milled parking lot, the City will repair prior to the paving of the intermediate lift. This may delay the schedule of the intermediate lift of paving. 3) Asphalt a. Overlay thickness will be equal to the asphalt removed unless otherwise noted. b. Tack coat will be a separate item. c. Pavement shall be completed within five (5) working days of cold milling
