Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Cranbrook, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The works are to include but are not limited to: Removal of temporary 24m all steel portable and transporting it to Canfor Yard in Elko. Treated timbers (sills and ballast wall) and lock blocks to be transported and unloaded at ministry yard in Cranbrook (Stahl road) Install new N1-155A bridge in accordance with Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource General Arrange (GA) drawings N1-155-2021-11-04-Permanent Bridge NH.pdf pg. 1-16 and Structure Drawings. Produce, load, haul and placement of approach fills including surfacing material to design grade in accordance with the GA drawings Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations Drawing Set N1-155-2021-11-04-Permanent Bridge NH.pdf pg. 1-16. (Source is located 300m from this site and will require screening). Sorting, loading, hauling and placement of 360 m3 (placed volume) of rip rap as specified in GA drawings, N1-155-2021-11-04-Permanent Bridge NH.pdf pg. 1-16. Prepared source is located 5km from the site Supply and installation of provided drain trough as per GA drawings. From Cranbrook :(Junction of Hwy 3 and Theatre Road) Travel west on Hay 3 for 1.6km. Take exit for BC95A for Kimberley. Continue on for 21.7km. Take a left turn on St Mary's Lake Road. Continue for 29.8km. Turn left onto the Redding Creek FSR. Continue on for 14.5km and arrive at the site. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
