Renovation of a power facility in Bowling Green, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
As of May 17, 2022 project was not awarded and at this time will not be re-bid. Work consists of furnishing of all labor, materials, apparatus, expendable tools and equipment, and all other services required for the design, fabrication, and delivery f.o.b. job site, Bowling Green, Ohio of one (1) 67/12.47 KV 25/28/33/37.2 MVA power transformers with load tap changer including all specified and otherwise required accessories and the furnishing of technical field installation direction and inspection services associated with improvements to the City of Bowling Green, Ohio Gypsy Lane Road Substation. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid using the forms provided in the specifications. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) 2. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of the City of Bowling Green in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. The Successful Bidder will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, disability or age. The Successful Bidder will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants for employment are considered for employment and that employees treated during employment, without regard to their race, religion, color, sex, national origin, disability or age. The Successful Bidder will also incorporate the requirements of this paragraph in all of its respective contracts for subcontracted work. Further, he/she agrees that they and any subcontractor shall comply with Ohio Administrative Code 5501-1-02, Appendix B, State Equal Employment Opportunity Covenant. The City of Bowling Green, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The City of Bowling Green reserves the right to award only the base bid items or base bid items along with the alternate bid items listed in this Invitation to Bid. Engineer's Estimate - $950,000
