Demolition and site work for a fire / police facility in Welland, Ontario. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The City of Welland is seeking the service of an experienced demolition firm for the removal of the King Street Fire Hall located at 636 King Street, Welland. The Contractor shall be responsible for the demolition and removal from the site, of the existing two-storey brick building save for any materials that may be safely buried below the surface and finished with soil and top dressing. The Contractor shall obtain all approvals and all permits from the City and appropriate regulatory agencies, in the manner and timeframes required by the agencies. The Contractor shall demolish, break up and remove from the site, all concrete, masonry and like inert rubble from all foundations, slabs and walkways. Contractor shall remove from the site all other material including plaster, wood, fixtures, equipment, electrical/mechanical systems and facilities, insulation, floor/wall/ceiling interior finishes and exterior cladding and roofing, windows, doors, fences, tables, benches, all unclaimed items inside and outside the building, including furniture, miscellaneous materials and debris. The Contractor must clear and leave the site in a graded and reasonably level condition to the satisfaction of the City and will be required to topsoil and seed as required. bid values not released for publication.
