This project consists of installing approximately 1940 linear feet of sidewalk on the north side of 5th Street from Tennessee Ave. extending west to A.L Kinsaul Park to include the addition of crosswalks, a 3-way stop at the intersection of Montana Ave. The City of Lynn Haven reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The City also reserves the right to reject contractors who do not meet the minimum required standards and are not qualified to perform the work. All Bids shall be firm for a period of 90 days after opening. This includes material prices. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. All bidders shall comply with all applicable state and local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida. Respondents to this solicitation or persons acting on their behalf may not contact between the release of the solicitation and the end of the 72-hour period following the agency posting the notice of intended award, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, any employee or officer of the executive or legislative branch concerning any aspect of this solicitation, except in writing to the procurement officer or as provided in the solicitation documents. Violation of this provision may be grounds for rejecting a response. The City shall award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to fully complete the project within the specified time will bet set at $250.00 per day
