As of June 27, 2024, project was awarded to BCL Civil Contractors, Inc., with an awarded amount of $422,352.25. This project consists of installing approximately 3,200 linear feet of sidewalk on the north side of West 26th Street from Jenks Avenue to Lynn Haven Parkway Ave to include the addition of crosswalks, pedestrian handrails, closed flume inlets, cut and patch of asphalt and concrete. This project also has an additive alternative that consists of installing approximately 409 linear feet of sidewalk on the south side of West 26 th Street to include the addition of an emphasis crosswalk, pedestrian crossing signal, crosswalk, and cut and patch of asphalt. A Bid Bond or Cashier's Check in the amount of 5% of Bid shall accompany Bid. The City of Lynn Haven reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The City also reservesthe right to reject contractors who do not meet the minimum required standards and are not qualified to perform the work. All Bids shall be firm for a period of 90 days after opening. This includes material prices. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. Respondents to this solicitation or persons acting on their behalf may not contact between the release of the solicitation and the end of the 72-hour period following the agency posting the notice of intended award, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, any employee or officer of the executive or legislative branch concerning any aspect of this solicitation, except in writing to the procurement officer or as provided in the solicitation documents. Violation of this provision may be grounds for rejecting a response. The City shall award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
