The purpose and intent of this invitation to bid is to establish a contract(s) with experienced, qualified, bonded and licensed (if applicable) contractor(s) to provide for the maintenance, service and repair of lift stations and sump pumps. Contractor(s) will be required to identify, correct and repair any problems to prevent issues that may lead to interruption of service and cause immediate safety issues throughout the District. Section I - Repairs/Cleaning/Emergencies: These services will be on an as-needed basis for pump cleaning, repairs and emergencies. This bid will establish a contract securing firm, net, hourly labor rates and percentages for materials, parts, equipment supplies, etc., for the contract period as specified herein. All submitted pricing is to include labor, equipment, travel, vehicles, mileage, and incidentals to efficiently and properly repair and clean all lift stations and sump pumps covered under this contract. The contractor must have a response time maximum of two (2) hours from the time a call is placed to the arrival on site. Section II - Preventative Maintenance Plan: These services will be for a continuing system of preventative maintenance across approximately twelve (12) sites, district-wide. This bid will establish a contract securing firm, net rates for the regular inspection and maintenance of lift stations and sump pumps. The contractor will conduct these services on a monthly basis. Note: After evaluation of submittals, the District's Maintenance Department may choose to include Option II as an award under this contract. Questions Deadline Date March 18, 2022 - 4:00 PM EST Tentative Board Approval May 10, 2022 The Contract Period shall commence May 29, 2022, or upon contract award, and end two (2) years from date of award (Initial Term: 05/29/2022 through 05/28/2024). The district reserves the right to award or reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part, by section or by individual item and award the balance, with rights being maintained to make multiple awards if in the best interest of the district to do so.
