Selected consultant or firm to design and engineer for construction, a temporary (ten-year), instream fish management structure capable of preventing the upstream migration of fish in the Upper West Branch LeClerc Creek as directed by the District. Scope of services to include, but not be limited to the following: 1. Conduct site visit and initial surveys to inform structure location design options. 2. If survey results allow, develop two conceptual designs for an instream fish passage barrier as outlined below: a. Utilize both a vertical drop with a velocity barrier chute; or b. Utilize a velocity barrier chute only. 3. Upon approval by the District of the preferred conceptual design, develop final designs and specifications including detailed drawings along with a site map for permitting purposes. For reference, the Upper West Branch LeClerc Creek Location Latitude is 48.657643 and Longitude is 117.238378, Pend Oreille County, WA. The District plans to complete this design work by November 1, 2022. Respondents must be registered Professional Engineers in Civil, and Mechanical or Structural Engineering in the State of Washington.
