Public Utility District No. 1 of Pend Oreille County (the District), is seeking bids from qualified contractors to extend a portion of the Diamond Lake Water System. The District reserves the right to cancel this ITB at any time, or issue amendments or corrections. The District reserves the right to award this contract, or to not award this contract. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 2/26/2024 4:00 PM All questions or clarifications must be submitted through the "Clarifications" tab. This project consists of the installation of approximately 745 LF of new 8" C-900 water line and a fire hydrant within public R/W and across the Owner's property. All work shall be in accordance with the contract documents. Bid security: All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Pend Oreille PUD. Rejection of Bids: The Pend Oreille PUD reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, and in its sole judgment, accept the bid which it deems is in its best interest. Additional bid acceptance and contract award provisions are specified in the Contract Documents. All work performed on this project will be subject to Washington State prevailing wage rates.
