The Project Cost is Estimated to Be $1,000,000 and Consist of the Following Scopes of Work: General Update the Existing Multi-bed Exam Room A200 to Meet Dept. Of Health Requirements. Most of the Required Work is Mechanical and Electrical, but There is Some General Work Including New Wall Furring and Painting to Conceal New Piping for the Handwash Sink and Wall Cutting & Patching to Allow Installing New Conduits at the Patient Bed Headwalls. There is Also Some Ceiling Work Required, Including Re-installing Cubicle Curtain Track in New Locations. Hvac Work Includes Removing Existing Ductwork and Diffusers, Installing New Ductwork and Diffusers and Controls, and Adding a New Electric Ceiling Heater in the Adjacent Exit Corridor. Medical Gas Scope of Work Includes Adding New Medical Air, Oxygen, and Vacuum Outlets to the East Wall of Exam Rm #a200, as Well as Running Connecting Lines From There Back to a New Zone Valve in Corridor A266 and From There South to the Existing Area Alarm Panel in the Nurses Station. Plumbing Scope of Work Includes Installing a New Handwash Sink in Rm A200 Along With New Hot & Cold-water Piping and Sanitary Sewer Connections for the Sink. Electrical Scope of Work Includes Installing Wiring to Multiple New Receptacles for Each of the (3) Headwalls in Rm A200, as Well as Connection of the New Med Gas Control Valve. Work Also Includes Connecting New Nurse Call Devices and Alarms Within Rm A200. Room Lighting Can Remain as-is. Install New Power Connection to the New Ceiling-mounted Electric Wall Heater.
