Project is no longer needed.** Sealed Bid for Rehabilitation of Courthouse & Annex Buildings Brick Siding Pend Oreille County Public Works Department is soliciting sealed bids for the contract to provide rehabilitation to existing brick siding on the Courthouse located at 625 W. 4th St Newport, WA 99156 and the Courthouse Annex located at 418 South Scott Ave. Newport, WA 99156. This project will rehabilitate exterior masonry work on two County owned buildings. The addresses of these structures are as follows: Courthouse Building-625 West 4th St. Newport WA 99156 & Alternate Item-Annex Building 418 South Scott Avenue Newport, WA 99156. The buildings are situated on the same parcel and are adjacent to each other. The two buildings are listed together on the National Register of Historic Places. Washington State Governors Executive Order 21-02 Review has been completed with a determination of “No Historic Resources Impacted”. A written safety plan for this project shall be submitted for review & approval by the County engineer. The Contractor shall remove and dispose of all materials daily, used in or removed from, in conjunction with these work phases. The work site shall remain in a neat and orderly manner during the entire project. The contractor shall maintain ADA access to the buildings during the buildings’ business hours of 8:00 am-4:30pm, Monday -Friday (closed legal holidays). Weekend work is allowed, contractor shall verify with the City of Newport for hours that may be governed by noise restrictions. The project shall be fully completed by 09/31/2024.
