Site work and paving for a civil project in Newport, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The major items of work include: Timber pile jacketing, timber stringer supplements, expansion joint replacement, bridge maintenance cleaning, steel deck repair, and approach roadway repaving. The project is a Federal Aid project and has a Twelve percent (12%) Mandatory Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in accordance with Section 1-02.7 of the Washington State Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the County of Pend Oreille. The Pend Oreille County courthouse is located at 625 4th St. Newport, WA 99156 Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to: THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, COURTHOUSE, Po Box 5025/625 WEST FOURTH STREET, NEWPORT, WASHINGTON 99156 with " COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NUMBER - BHS-T261(006) CRP 845 IONE BRIDGE REHABILITATION." written on the outside.
