Renovation of a water / sewer project in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Owner will also make every effort to respond to requests for additional information that may be available, or to schedule additional visits until the close of business on March 21, 2022. A site visit is mandatory to be considered responsive to this RFP. The address for the site visit is: RB Simms Filtration Plant-Welcome Center 390 Spartanburg Water Works Road Chesnee, SC 29323 In its sole discretion, the Spartanburg Water System reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. It is the policy of the Spartanburg Water System that local Minority and Women Owned Enterprises, (MWBE s) shall be afforded the opportunity to participate fully in the overall procurement process of the Spartanburg Water System. Emergency Generator Replacement Description: Remove existing unit and replace with new 2.0MG emergency electric generator at the RB Simms Filtration Plant. Includes all equipment, materials, installation, and labor. i. Evaluate the electrical engineering assessment performed by Matrix Engineering, the current transfer system, and the associated wiring. ii. Disconnect and remove current generator and miscellaneous equipment per all federal, state, and local guidelines. iii. Provide all equipment, material, drawings, and labor for a turnkey installation iv. Unit start up and testing v. Training with operations and maintenance staff Shortlist Confirmed.
