CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/24/2022 5:00 PM In lieu of a hard copy Bid Bond, each electronic bid must be accompanied by a scanned copy of a CORPORATE BID BOND, CERTIFIED GOOD FAITH CHECK, CASHIER'S CHECK, OR TREASURER'S CHECK, in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid drawn to the order of the County of Delaware (County). Upon opening of the bids, the original hard copy check should be provided within five (5) days of bid opening upon request from the County. the original must be the same check number, bank, etc. as what was uploaded as part of the bid submission. Failure to accompany this bid with appropriate bid security described above will automatically disqualify bidder. This project involves construction of a new playground at Upland County Park, including demolition and removal of the existing playground, site preparation, concrete sidewalk, ADA curb ramps, stormwater management, installation of new playground equipment and safety surfacing, landscaping, and all appurtenant work. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids. There will be no formal Pre-Bid Conference. The Delaware County Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and to determine whether the quality and type of equipment and/or service to be furnished meet the requirements for which it is intended. They further reserve the right to insist or waive any technicalities required for the best interest of the County and to consider competency and responsibility of the bidder before the award of the Contract and award bids accordingly.
