The Municipality of Edmundston is inviting all interested Tenderers to present an offer for the Edmundston East - Water and Sewer upgrade - Phase 2. Work consists of removing and replacing the granular materials of the street infrastructure, watermain complete with water services, sanitary sewers complete with sewer services, and storm sewers, as well as the reinstatement work. Tender documents regarding this contract may be obtained at the reception desk of the Edmundston City Hall, by plan@edmundston.ca or by calling 506-739-2125. A Bid Bond or a Certified Cheque in the amount of 10% of the tender price, payable to the City of Edmundston, must accompany the tender. The successful tenderer will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of 50% of the accepted tender price or a Certified Cheque in the amount of 20% of the accepted tender price. Tenders will have to be signed and the name, address and phone number of the tenderer will also have to be indicated The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted, and tenders received after the specified closing time and date will not be accepted.
