Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Milton, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of June 10, 2022. The project has been awarded with the amount of $343,512.60. The City of Milton is accepting sealed bids from qualified firms for the Birmingham Equestrian Parking Improvements for the Public Works Department in conformance with Title 32, Chapter 4, Article 4, Part 2 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated. All work will be done in accordance with Georgia Department of Transportations (GDOT) Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications (current edition), and Pay Items Index as standards and specifications for the construction and completion of the work required. All bidders must comply with all general and special requirements of the bid information and instructions enclosed herein. Bids received after the above time will not be accepted. Questions must be also be submitted online in the same manner listed above for bids. Deadline for questions is March 30, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. Official answers to questions and potential change (Addendums) to the ITB (Addendums) will be posted at the same web locations as the ITB on or about April 5, 2022. Any other form of interpretation, correction, or change to this ITB will not be binding upon the City. It is the bidder's responsibility to check the websites for potential updates. Please refer to Bid (22-PW11) and bid name (Birmingham Equestrian Parking Improvements) when requesting information. The City of Milton reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities, and to make award in the best interest of the City of Milton. The selected contractor must be able to start work within ten (10) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The time of completion for the project is to be determined prior to the issuance of the "Notice to Proceed." If weather (beyond normal) affects the required completion schedule, The City and selected contractor will negotiate a new completion date. Section 108.08 of the State of Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems (current edition) shall be applied.
