Contractor agrees to provide all labor, parts, tools, incidentals, travel, equipment, and transportation needed to demolish, remove, and safely and legally dispose of two (2) existing air conditioning units and all associated components. Contractor agrees to replace with new units as described below, to provide Caltrans with all owner s manuals and literature associated with each new unit, and to provide any necessary training to Caltrans personnel associated with new units. Written Question Submittal 03/18/22 Proposed Award Date (estimate) 04/07/22 This Agreement will commence on June 15, 2022 (estimate) or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement shall expire on June 14, 2023 (estimate) Payment Bond (ADM-2009) Requirement: If the successful bidder's bid exceeds $25,000, the successful bidder shall furnish a Payment Bond for not less than 100 percent (100%) of the total amount payable by the terms of this Agreement. The Payment Bond is due prior to the start date of work Prime Bidder must possess, at the time of bid submittal and for the duration of the Agreement, a valid and current Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Contractor (C-20) license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB) at the time of bid submittal and for the duration of the contract. Prime Bidder or its subcontractor must possess, at the time of bid submittal and for the duration of the Agreement, a valid and current Roofing Contractor (C-39) license issued by CSLB Caltrans reserves the right to reject all bids for reasonable cause.
