Estimated budget range: $1,000,001 - $3,000,000 Project generally consists of asphalt, curb and gutter, sidewalk and signage for two westbound left turn lanes off of MT Highway 1; and subdivision street construction including asphalt, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and water, sewer and storm drain extensions for the East Yards Subdivision Phase II project in Anaconda, Montana. The project includes, but is not limited to the following: -Two new subdivision streets with new curb and gutter and asphalt with a total length of approximately 1,800-ft; -Two left turn lanes on Highway 1 with a total length of approximately 1,200-ft; -Intersection improvements at the intersection of the subdivision streets and Highway 1; -Approximately 300-ft long water and sewer main extensions; -Approximately 700-ft long storm drain extension; -Installation of streetlight bases and conduit; -Provisions for storm water and traffic control. The Contractor that is awarded the project will be responsible for printing all documents necessary for performing the work. Contractor and any of the Contractor's Subcontractors doing work on this project will be required to obtain registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). All laborers and mechanics employed by Contractor or Subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages in accordance with the Montana Prevailing Wage Rates. There is no Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) or "Buy American" requirement. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to ADLC, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. Successful Bidders shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful Bidder(s) and a Certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the receipt of bids noted above. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the Owner.
