The project includes, but is not limited to the following: o190,000 square yards of 318" Type 1 chip seal cover aggregate; o340 tons of CHFRS-2P emulsified asphalt seal coat; o74 each hand application of chip seal and fog seal to curb turn fillets at intersections; o7.68 course miles of final sweep and broom; o28,500 gallons of fog seal; oPavement markings; and oTraffic control. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. This includes providing channelization, flaggers, or other measures necessary to allow the safe passage of local vehicles to access residences that are within the work zone but not blocked by construction.
